Usually by the time we start what we call the "ber" months, we have already put up a Christmas tree at home, Christmas songs are being played on the radio, TV programs starts to have their Christmas countdown, people rushing to buy gifts. This year Christmas started very late for me. We put up our Christmas tree 2 weeks ago only & until now I haven't finished my list.

I've always wanted to give useful & unique gifts to people who are special to me. This year I'm doing desk calendars. So far...I'm way behind and most likely they will receive their calendars by January *LOL*

Meri Xmas

2005: This was our first Christmas @ Chiltern Park (my 2nd home in Singapore). We celebrated with Wena (who is now in NY...I miss you girl!) and with Kuya Jun's family.
2008: Our first Christmas at our new home (my 3rd). My niece would always remind me how many days left before Christmas once I reached home from work :-) They are so happy & excited. Oh how precious it is to be kids!

My Darling

Yesterday I went to my colleague's house to scrap. (What a beautiful house I must say hehehe) She is a newbie at scrapbooking and very excited to be hosting the scrap meet. Though due to the very hectic schedule of everyone, we were only able to stay for a couple of hours. She was able to finished her altered chopping board for her dad. I did this layout using Inspired Blueprints Sketch #4. I haven't submitted though because I still I want to add something but not sure what it is. I find it too plain and have this feeling that is too flat hehehe... Will post the new & imporve version once I'm done... :-) This photos were taken by our cousin Ria when she visited us last May. Really love how she captures this wonderful moments with Andi. I heard that the red dress was only good for one photoshoot and after it was done, they had to change coz Andi ate chocolates and had chocolate stains after hehehe

This is my 2nd godchild in Singapore (the 1st is my niece hehehe). She's very cute, talented and smart little 3 year old. So many tricks and "palabas". This photo was taken during the despidida for the Angel, Ludy & JC. Mother L played the Papaya dance song from her handphone and she was showing us her dance moves. She was such a cutie!

I remember we were not able to accompany them because we couldn't take leave from work. Good thing Ria & Reizl was here and was able to join them. This is my interpretation of Sketch 116 at Scrapbook Challenges. Not sure my interpretation is correct hahaha... P.S. The Luge

Here's my entry for Create's "A Witches Brew" and "Lift It" challenge lifting Pamela's Chocoholic LO at Scrapbook Challenges My brew is a mixture of 1. eye of newt --- 2 buttons 2. wool of bat --- 3 different kinds of ribbons 3. Adder's fork --- 1 metal embellishment 4. owlet's wing --- 1 transparency 5. fillet of a fenny snake --- AC Thickers The Luge is part go-cart, part tobogan. It's one FUN FUN ride. Their slogan is really true, once is not enough! It's very addictive. Good thing the price is reasonable (else, once might be enough hahaha). They also have special promos for different category like Sentosa members, Family package etc... All in all I must say that if you do visit Sentosa, this is one ride you must try!. For Paschal & Bedette

Paschal & Bedette visited us last May. It was the first time I met Paschal and I could say that he's really a nice guy. Down to earth, funny & most of all...loves my cousin!

I promised Bedette that I will do some layouts for them. I was hoping to finish it in time for Ate sooxs trip to US. Unfortunately, I only finished one. I will send the rest via mail instead. :-)

Who says it's only for kids? Thanks to Marix, Thea, Andi, Ate sooxs & I received a very creative "treat" today hehehe... She altered the Prima flower bottle and created her own packaging for the chocolates. Yummy! Thanks again! (sa uulitin po...hehehe).

Looking Back...

Looking back I miss the days when we can just hang out and be carefree. Plan for trips and the future. Now, we are living the future that we have planned...In a different country, exploring new culture, and making new memories with new friends. Miss you! Hope we can meet up when we are both back in PH.

This LO is for my mama's album. The photo was taken during our trip to KL last 2006. It's one of those memorable vacation because we seldom spend time with each other doing nothing. We are all caught up with our own busy schedules that we forget to just sit back & relax. My younger sister was with us as well, she just graduated from University then. I can't wait for another trip with them. One thing I wish though is that my older sister can join us next time though *hint hint* :-).

Quiet Time

I was so tired & sleepy but I couldn't sleep last night. I guess I had a lot of things in my mind. To be more productive rather than toss and turn on my bed, I took out my supplies and tried to create one LO for "Let's be clear" challenge at Scrapbook Challenges.

This was actually an old unfinished layout I have started doing during one of our mini scrapmeet at home (@ Chiltern Park) :-) After a lot of contemplating on what else to add I ended up just adding this phrases from Teresa Collins paper today *LOL*

This was my first Dinner & Dance in Singapore (2004). The theme was "Shanghai Express" held at Marina Mandarin Hotel. I was told by my colleagues that we must dress up to the theme but to be on the safe side I opted to wear an evening dress instead hahaha. (Photo start from Left: Me, Justin, Kevin, Kelly & Thomas)

I want to scrap!

That is what I have been saying to myself for the past few weeks. Unfortunately my things are still not in it's proper place and getting tools, embellishments and other stuff is a bit tricky (most of my stuffs are still a box and must return to the box after)hindering my creative juices to flow into a Layout hahaha...excuses excuses....oh well I hope this weekend will be more productive :-)
